What do they do?
The Department of Statistics collects statistics and produces and provides statistical information for data-driven decision making for Bermuda's economy and society.
In addition to conducting the Bermuda Census, the department regularly produces publicly available reports about:
- Employment in Bermuda
- Household expenditure
- Bermuda’s population and demographics
- Gross domestic product in Bermuda
- Technology in business
- Consumer pricing, including the cost of food, rent, clothing, fuel, and transportation costs in Bermuda
