This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the "Government") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Bus Wash System Replacement as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables").

The Department of Public Transportation (DPT), Ministry of Transport, Government of Bermuda, is seeking proposals from experienced bus wash manufacturers for the replacement of the existing bus wash system at the headquarters facility.  The DPT operates a fleet of 120 public service single deck buses, inclusive of electrical and diesel motor powered units.  The headquarters, with a parking yard, maintenance facility and a drive-through bus wash, is located at 26 Palmetto Road, Devonshire, Bermuda.

The existing bus wash system, Model 3000A is 26 years old and was supplied by N/S Corporation.  This equipment has reached the end of its useful life and requires a full replacement.

Pre-Bid / Site Visit

The bidder's designated representative is invited to attend a pre-bid meeting, if provided for, the purpose of the meeting will be to clarify issues and to answer questions on any matter that may be raised at that stage of procurement.  If so provided for, the Government will organize a site visit.  

The bidder is requested, as far as possible, to submit any questions in writing, to reach the DPT Contact no later than one week before the meeting.  Non-attendance at the pre-bid meeting will not be a cause for the disqualification of a bidder.  The pre-bid meeting will take place:
